World Soil Day 2019 is celebrated in the Institute of Soil and Environmental Sciences, University of Agriculture Faisalabad-Pakistan. Soil and Environmental Sciences Students society organized a handmade poster competition in this concern. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf (T.I. S.I.) Vice-Chancellor UAF was the chief guest of this event. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf said that we must conserve the soil for future generations and should organize the different events in this concern. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yaseen (Director ISES) & Dr. Hafiz Naeem Asghar (Convener SESSS) speak with participant on this event. 64 students from UAF participated in handmade poster competition. Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Anwar ul Haq (Associate Professor), Dr. Muhammad Naveed (Assistant Professor) & Dr. Tayyaba Samreen (Lecturer) evaluate the posters. Miss Arooj Abbas & Mr. Hamza Ijaz B. Sc. (Hons.) Environmental Sciences got the 1st position. Miss Rabia Khalid M. Sc. (Hons.) Soil Sciences 3rd Semester & Miss Sana Tariq M. Phil Physiology got the 2nd position. Miss Sadia Amir B. Sc. (Hons.) HND 1st Semester got the 3rd position.
